Come visit beautiful Door County anytime of year. Find out
why many folks are choosing historic Sturgeon Bay as their
choice of places to stay. You will find several museums, arts,
entertainment, great food, lodging, bed And breakfasts, spas,
and of course fun shops like your favorite old fashion candy
store Copper Kettle Confections.
Third Avenue and the surrounding area has more shops and
amenities than you will find anywhere on the Door Peninsula.
Day tripping out of Sturgeon Bay is especially fun and our
staff at Copper Kettle can offer some fun excursion ideas.
We are always excited to see our seasonal customers and weekly
visitors who make Copper Kettle part of their Door County
trip. Terry's Customers have compared their trip into historic
downtown Sturgeon Bay to riding a roller coaster as they drop
into town on the West Side. There's always something
to do in Door!
The top of the hill boasts a panoramic view of nautical candy
for the eyes. Continuing down the hill, visitors find fun
shops, restaurants, and the Maritime Museum. Folks enjoy our
historic bridge so much that we actually have a special Steel
Bridge Song Festival each June in honor of it. Crossing the
bridge in a car is fun, while walking across it is a totally
different experience.. an even better experience when
your sharing a triple scoop ice cream cone from The Copper
Kettle with someone you love.
Did I mention that many of my customers remind me that the
Copper Kettle is the first place they stop upon arriving in
Sturgeon Bay, and then after the vacation is over we are the
last place to go and stock up on road munchies, and treats
for back home (Like treats for the dog sitter, and a pound
of fudge for Aunt Mildred)?
Upon crossing the bridge you will find the avenues numbered
1st, 2nd...thru 21st. 1st Ave. is the one closest to the water.
The streets intersecting the avenues, are alphabetical starting
with Alabama and running thru Utah. From the corner of Third
Ave. and Michigan Street, you will see Copper Kettle. We are
located about three shops to the north at 24 North Third Ave.
